The U.S. will be forced to install an inverted image in 2014

The United States National Transport Administration (NHTSA) has submitted an application to the United States Congress for more time to improve the rules related to the need for car manufacturers to install reversing images in 2014.

NHTSA said that the future of the rear view camera  image is a mandatory provision, which will prevent 300 accidents every year and will save 100 lives, especially children.

NHTSA estimates that if the regulation is implemented, the price of the reverse image system will increase the cost of the car, and it is expected that all the factories will increase the cost of $1 billion 900 million -27 a year. However, the increase of these costs will be relatively cheaper than the cost of rescue after reversing the accident.

We analyze that because American cars generally belong to high displacement, and most of them are pickup models, they do have a lot of impact on the line of sight. Therefore, the reverse cameras image is a mandatory marking in the future, which is very suitable for the American market. But whether it is applicable to our country, we will continue to pay attention to it.
